  I was here with a big group. Appetizers of lamp and shrimp were excellent. Wedge salad was best ever. Excellent asparagus and green beans. My ribeye was fine but nothing extra special. Large not overly sweet cheesecake for dessert. Service was excellent.

  Excellent wine list, some interesting fun stuff on there, and a great bar-tending crew, both knowledgeable and excited about what's on the menu. Sweetbreads are excellent and well balanced by the other elements on the plate, the smoked sturgeon rillettes is amazing, tight flavor and excellent presentation. The bar area in general is top notch. All of the plates could be slightly smaller and the starches plated with the entrees are usually too much food for the plate, but everything tastes great. Didn't love the crab beignets, I think the deep fryer needed to have the oil slightly hotter, too much oil absorption, but otherwise an excellent meal.

  This is our favorite restaurant in Des Moines. Love the seasonal menu and the servers never leave your water empty. Great food, phenomenal service, wish I could give them 10 stars.
