  I love BBQ. It's one of my favorite things. And Jethro's is one of the best around. I don't live in town, but when I do I always make an effort to visit here or Zombie Burger. I haven't even had a chance to try many other places because they are both just so good.

  It's a decent enough establishment. Clean, nice staff, good service, but... It's just not very good BBQ. I don't think they take the time and pride that places in KC, Memphis, Alabama, NC, SC or Texas take in their meats. BBQ is supposed to be about the meat, not the sauce. This is the Applebee's of BBQ.

  Honestly I am disappointed with the new menu. Severely. Not only was the burger I love (the bulldog) removed from their menu, but they now seemingly are using frozen burger patties from Walmart instead of actual ground beef. I ordered the Western BBQ burger with the Waffle Fries. As always the Waffle fries here are great. Add some ketchup with them and you will be hard pressed to find any better. The one star is simply because the fries are good. I took 4/4 stars off for the burger. The two patties are in the state as described above and not only were paper thin, but were supposed to be well done but were in fact medium rare. The glazed pork belly was most definitely not to my liking due to the fact it was just a thick chunk of burnt undercooked fat stuck between the patties. All in all a terrible burger. To be honest I used to love coming to jethros, the food was good. After that display I will not be returning.
