  Simon's fills me with nostalgia. It has an old school vibe pulsating through it that reminds me of a gangster movie- dimly lit, small, and cozy. The food is consistently delicious comfort food.
  
  I always have a hard time choosing what to order. Their specials rotate and are always a pleasant surprise. The pizza is so good its difficult to resist. We order an extra to take home. Pastas a great, steaks are delicious, and the cocktails are always on point.
  
  Only gripe about Simon's is the small size usually creates a small wait. Neighborhood folks love this spot and it shows. I wish they were just a tad bigger, but that might spoil the ambiance.

  Went to Simon's for the first time tonight and sooo glad we did. It's truly a hidden gem in urbandale! A cozy little place where we got sat by the owner himself (hard to find these days). The service and food were both amazing not to mention you get a complimentary piece of cake with dinner!!! Highly recommended and we will DEFINITELY be back!
